This Air/Production studio is shared with the Part 15 FM stations & streaming network.
The BE Spotmaster1070 cart machines were donated; despite their age (mid 70's) they still sound good, only the top unit is set up to record, next to the BE 1070 stack is another one of our Behringer 2804 mixing consoles; it has six stereo slide pots, four stereo rotary pots minus EQ, plus 8 mono slide pots. Next to the console is a stack of ITC Deltas cart machines including a record amp. The Deltas feature near CD sound quality and they handle tight carts better than the Spotmasters. Next to the carts is a Sony MDS JE 330 mini disc and three Technics SLPG-300 CD decks. On top of the mini disc is a Behringer 602a that mixes the two air studios into seperate streams, one is mono for the part15 AM transmitters the other stereo for the affiliate stream, the 602a mixes can either be a simulcast are split with a knob twist.

STUDIO 2

This studio set up has two computers; a 800mhz and a old 350mhz, both have editors as well as Sonicart, PCDJ and DRS2006 for flexibility, To the right is an audio amp, followed by a Behringer 2804 mixing console, the mic is a Senn 421. Moving to the right, on top is an Alesis 3630 compressor, two Aiwa cassette decks with dolby C, two Technics SLPG-300 CD decks, followed by Sony EQ then three Dynamax stereo cart machines (1 record 2 play) to the right out of the picture is the audio processing equipment.

On the top shelf left to right Aiwa casstte deck, Technics SLPG-300 CD, Apex DVD/MP3 player and another Technics SLPG-300 CD last is a BE Spotmaster 1070 cart recorder. The console is a BE 250 stereo 5 pot, the mic is also a Senn-421, speakers are Bose 301 .

MINI NEWS/TALK STUDIO

7 Cart machines, a mix of stereo & mono. The Delta's & the 99 on the desk are stereo. Music is on mini disc & PC, the Tascam 1 is used to combine the mono carts, newsfeeds along with a VCR into a Behringer 602, all of this on a small computer desk. This set up was originally located at the old XRQK News/Talk studios in Needles Ca.
